Dear Banded Brothers,
I want to sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me and my girls with our utilities during such a difficult and desperate time in our lives.
As an independent single mother, I have always done everything I could to provide for my family and keep us moving forward. However, the past four months have been incredibly difficult. There were moments when it became hard to find hope in humanity because I could see my situation getting worse, and it felt as though every door was closing. I reached out for help in so many places, only to feel discouraged when I was unable to find the assistance we desperately needed.
My walk with the Lord has been strong throughout my life, but during these past few months, my faith was truly tested. In some of my darkest moments, I struggled to understand why things were happening and how I would continue to provide for my girls. Then, God showed me that He was still working. Your kindness, generosity, and willingness to help us came at a time when we truly needed it. You helped my family survive during a time when I honestly did not know where to turn next. I cannot fully express what that means to me.
Through your generosity, I have witnessed the Lord’s work through the hands and hearts of others. What you did for us was so much more than helping with a utility bill. You gave me hope when I was struggling to find it. You reminded me that there are still good people in this world who are willing to step forward and help someone in need.
Today, my faith is even stronger because I have watched God work through this difficult season of my life. I truly believe that He placed Banded Brothers in our path when we needed you most.
Thank you for seeing us. Thank you for helping us. Thank you for giving me and my girls a chance to breathe during such a difficult time. I will never forget the kindness and compassion you showed my family. As we continue to move forward, I will carry this experience with me as a reminder that even when it feels like every door has closed, God is still working behind the scenes and making a way.
With all my gratitude and heartfelt appreciation,
Joyce
