Happy New Year!

Happy New Year !!!! I asked a friend recently how he was doing. He responded that he was experiencing a Holiday HangOver. There’s a new one for you or maybe not. The holiday season is taxing and yes, we have made it that way. We have created the monster here, no one to blame but ourselves. There’s no denying the pressure associated with meal preparation, gift purchasing and entertainment commitments for sure.

Let’s invite the words found in John 8:12 to soothe our holiday anxiety. "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life". Jesus, the Light of the world, didn’t just shine for a season, He continues to guide us daily with offerings of hope and direction as we choose to follow Him into the new year. As the rush of Christmas slows and a new year awaits, we can continue to celebrate by embracing His presence. I got a new one for you …. Jesus HangOver. That’s one where we don’t need a remedy !!!!! The gift that keeps on giving if you know what I mean. Have a blessed 2026 !!!!
